Customer Service Representative

Pan-Abode International Ltd., a Richmond based log home manufacturer is currently seeking a mature individual who wants to return to the workforce. This individual is the first point of contact for our customers. They are approachable and committed to providing exceptional customer service based on their knowledge of our products and services.

This is a permanent full time position with working hours from Monday to Friday.

Duties and responsibilities for this position include:

• Answer and direct incoming calls.
• Respond to customer enquiries. (Phone & email)
• Sort and distribute incoming/outgoing mail and courier packages.
• Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, copying and filing.
• Assist in quoting and purchasing materials.
• Sourcing shipping quotes and dispatching materials.

 Ideal candidate will possess the following skills, attributes and experience: 

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A strong command of the English language is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook. Lotus Notes experience an asset.
• Pleasant and professional phone manner.
• Customer service driven attitude.
• Must be flexible in their ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills, reliable, ability to multi-task, high-energy level and a cheerful, positive attitude.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Own transportation preferable. Limited public transportation is available.
• Previous customer service experience is an asset.
